The highlight of last weekend was definitely the hot air balloon ride over Del Mar. We started off near the Pacific, under a layer of marine clouds, but quickly reached above it at 3000 feet. As we moved inland, the clouds dissapated and our pilot guided the balloon up and down across the landscape. A special surprise came when a gentleman asked me to take a picture of him and his girlfriend, which I happily obliged, only to realize he was then on one knee asking for her hand in marriage. She said yes. Champange for all as we soared across the sunset sky.
